BAU signs five agreements with universities of US, Belgium

MYMENSINGH, July 2: Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) has signed five agreements on exchanging curriculum and research works with the universities and institutions of the United States and Belgium, reports UNB.

 Of them, four universities are in the United States - Texas A and M University, Florida A and M University, Brooklyn College of City University in New York and Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and the rest in Ghent University of Belgium.

The Vice Chancellor of Agricultural University Prof. Muhammad Hossain signed the agreements while visiting the United States and Belgium recently, said a press release.

The aims of these agreements are to exchange meritorious students to upgrade academic standards as well as to take steps on joint programmes in the field of human development, education and research works.
